Graphic and Web Designer
Hi, my name is Van Tran. I'm a Graphic and Web Designer located in San Jose the Bay Area of Silicon Valley. A Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design at San Jose State University has helped me tremendously in pursuing a profession that I love doing -- web design and graphic design. The design principle, less is more, and design disciplines that I learned in school have created a strong foundation for me to pursue my career as a graphic and web designer.
There is so much to learn about web design and web technology. Web technology is evolving rapidly to make communication and interaction between people more meaningful. It is this sense of evolution that inspires web designer like me to constantly wanting to learn more about web technologies and to become the best that I can be.
When I’m not in my graphic or web designer role, I enjoy outdoor activities like playing volleyball, raising fish, camping, fishing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, traveling, and tackling photography with my new Canon 7D.
I’m flexible, easy going, and determined. If you need assistant in a developing a website, logo or print ad, drop me a few lines and I’ll be glad to discuss further with you in person or over the phone and email.
I work full-time as a Web Designer and I do free-lance web and graphic design on the side, after work and on the weekend to keep myself occupied and productive.
